On this Memorial Day weekend, we remember whose who courageously laid down their lives for the cause of freedom. We pray for the families of our fallen troops, asking God to fill their lives with His strength and peace.
Please keep Pam Van Ginkel (3) in prayer as she continues her therapy in Arizona. We are grateful that she is slowly feeling and seeing some improvements and ask God to provide her with patience and complete healing.
We praise God for the gift of new life, celebrating with Carter and Jodi Pollema (5) on the birth of their son, Merrick John, and Patrick and Brooke Kooima (8) on the birth of their son, Adrien Philip. While both little boys need to spend some time in the NICU, we are grateful that they are doing well and pray that they may grow stronger each day.
Please join us in praying for Vanessa Holicki, granddaughter of Ruth Terpstra (6). Vanessa had her thyroid removed and will now undergo radioactive iodine treatment in an effort to rid her body of cancer. We pray for her and her family as she will need to be in isolation for a week during this treatment. May God restore her to complete health.
Matt Punt, brother of Andrea Cramer (8), continues his long recovery following a plane crash in Alaska. This past Friday, his left leg had to be amputated as it was too damaged and full of infection. We pray for protection over Matt’s body and mind during this difficult time.
We celebrate with Betty Vanden Bos (9), who Lord willing, will celebrate her 90th birthday on June 2. In her honor, her family will be serving cookies to her church family on Sunday, May 31. Birthday blessings Betty!
