Millie Hoekstra (1) is currently in a swing bed at Hegg Hospital to help her gain strength and improve her mobility. We pray she might be able to return home soon.
We express our sincere sympathy to Ken Kooima (3) in the loss of his beloved wife, Ruth. Our prayers are with him and his children, Kandi & Brent Van Oort (6), and Kurt & Megan Kooima (5) and their families as well as sisters-in-law, Marlene and Ron Kuyper (4), Ellen Kooima (7), and Trudy Huisken (10). May God fill them with his comfort & peace.
Kari Van Tol (9) continues to receive hospice care at Hegg Hospital where she is resting very peacefully. We pray that her and the family will be surrounded with peace and comfort.
Evan Blom (9) continues to receive extensive therapy at Madonna Rehab in Omaha. We are grateful to hear that the goal is for Evan to return home in the next week or two. Please continue to pray for Evan and Donna and their family.
Trudy Huisken (10) spent some time in the local hospital this past week undergoing some testing. We pray these tests will provide answers & what medical care is needed.
DeAnna Anema, daughter of Larry & Ellen De Wit (9), has had 2 surgeries since October to repair vertebrae infected with cancer. She has also undergone radiation, targeting her neck to her tailbone. Several of you have asked how you can help—what a blessing!
