We rejoice with Mykle, Andrea, Aidyn, and Lainey Kelderman (2) on the birth of their son and brother, Bryson John, born this past Tuesday. We praise God for new life!
On March 19, Tom Ellens (son of Dale & Pat (2), will be deployed to the Middle East. Please remember Tom, April, and children in your prayers. Pray that, in God’s time, Tom will return home physically, mentally and spiritually whole to resume his responsibilities as husband and father. Pray that April and the children will adjust well to his absence and find their every need provided for. Thank you for participating in this family’s journey over the coming year.
We mourn with those you mourn, asking God to fill us with his comfort and peace. Please continue to lift up the Van Tol family in prayer including Joe (9), Tairin (8), Jonah & Amanda (7) and Clay (2) as well as Joe Sr. (3) and Todd & Julie (4) as they grieve the loss of their wife, mother, daughter-in-law and sister-in-law, Kari. We also remember Jason and Abby De Groot (8), Harper, Reese, and Jase as they say goodbye for now to their dad and grandpa, Larry De Groot.
Evan Blom (9) continues with intense daily therapy and is making good progress. We are grateful that he was able to return home on Friday. We praise God for his faithfulness to Evan and his family and pray for continued strength and perseverance.
Cathi Van Zanten (10) has been dealing with some health concerns for the past couple of weeks and is consulting with various doctors. We pray for answers and renewed health.
Let’s keep in prayer our senior saints, particularly those living in area care homes:
- Pearl Munneke (1), Jim Bergsma (2), Ken Kats (2), Brad Van Maanen (3), Duane Obbink (4), Bev Dykstra (5), Ruth Terpstra, (6), Lou De Wit (7), Tillie Rook (7), Dale Pollema (8), Betty Vanden Bos (9) Jane Brouwer (10) and Dwaine De Groot (10).
Thank you congregation for your kind words, texts, and cards of sympathy in the passing of our brother and uncle, Mike De Jager. We are grateful that Mike is at peace in his Heavenly home, where he no longer is suffering any health issues. We appreciate our church family for the many ways you have supported the whole De Jager family throughout the last couple of months. Thank you, Kyle & Mindy De Jager, Kylie, Kaden and Maddyn
The love and support shown to us throughout the trials of the past few years and more recently surrounding Mike’s illness, cancer, and passing, carried us in ways you may never fully know. When the road felt hopeless and confusing, you surrounded us with comfort, compassion, and love. You lifted bold prayers to our Father on our behalf which gave hope to our heavy hearts. Although the path before us unclear, God has reminded us that His timing is perfect so we continue to see Him and pour out our thanks for all He has done. We are reminded that our faithful and sovereign God holds all our broken pieces in His hands and is in the business of making all things new and trust that He is holding every details of our lives in His loving care. With heartfelt thanks and love,
Margaret De Jager and family
