Please pray for Stan De Weerd (1) as he underwent a procedure this past week to insert a coil to stop a brain bleed. We pray that this will be effective and that he will make a full recovery.
We express our sympathy to Dotty & Jim Dirksen (2) in the passing of Dotty’s sister, Cornelia Jansen, from California. We pray for God’s peace to surround Dotty & her family.
We grieve with the De Jager family as they mourn the loss of their husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Mike De Jager. Please keep Margaret (10), Michaela, Keegan, Kyson, Kyler, Makiah and Karsten Van Surksum (7), and Kyle and Mindy De Jager (7) and their family in your prayers.
We pray for Joe & Kari Van Tol (9) and their family as Kari is now receiving hospice care. We pray they will be surrounded by God’s peace. The family kindly requests no visitors.
Evan Blom (9) was readmitted to the CHI Lakeside Hospital in Omaha on Monday night. Please pray for patience, a normal heart rhythm and decreased lung fluid so that he can get back to Madonna Rehab.

Thank you to everyone who remembered us with cards, prayers, and visits these past few weeks. It’s great to share the “fun things” with everyone but there is also sadness, disappointment, illness and death that draws us together at times. That is known as the family of God and I am humbled and blessed to be part of this family.
