History and Background

Trinity Christian Reformed Church

The legacy of Trinity Christian Reformed Church goes back to 1970 when 42 families and 5 individuals from Rock Valley began meeting for Sunday worship in the local Christian School gym. Over the next four years, Trinity CRC nearly doubled in membership and a new church building was dedicated. In 2003 we enlarged our ministry team to include two pastors. We added a new worship center that year as well. Five decades later, over 750 people now call Trinity CRC their church home.

Trinity CRC is part of the Christian Reformed Church in North America. We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, the only infallible rule for faith and life. It communicates the Gospel of God’s love for us in Christ as well as the challenge of Christian discipleship. We affirm the Apostles’ Creed, the Nicene Creed, and the Athanasian Creed as ecumenical expressions of the Christian faith. Several confessions and testimonies help us understand our faith and put it into practice.
